A Day at Estes-Always a Good Thing!

So we went to Estes Park a while ago to see the elk bugaling. We saw animals everywhere. Aside from the elk that were scattered throughout the park, we saw three ducks that would eat out of our hands, and a bat that nearly took Brady out. We were walking along the trail and this black flying thing barely misses his head and lands on a tree next to me. Then it just stayed there and we took tons of pictures. I learned later that bats at this time of the year should be hibernating and if they are out chances are that they are rabid! So way to go Erika for putting your head 5 inches away from a rabid bat just to take a picture!! But nonetheless it was a good day!
